Manila, Philippines – Beyond architecture and construction, WORLDBEX 2026 also celebrates the spirit of Filipino creativity through LIKHA, one of the expo’s most vibrant and culturally significant highlights. Derived from the Filipino word for “create,” LIKHA serves as a platform that showcases the artistry, craftsmanship, and innovation of Filipino designers, artisans, and creative entrepreneurs.
Through a series of exhibitions, demonstrations, and workshops, LIKHA brings together creators who highlight the richness of Filipino craftsmanship—where traditional techniques meet contemporary design. The LIKHA Demos and Workshops, located at the SMX Convention Center Manila, 2nd Floor Lobby, will feature participating artisans and organizations, including JB Woodcraft; Likhang Maragondon Native Product Trading; Mang Romy Iral Metal Craft; Kultur Siak Enterprise OPC; Tesoro’s Bamboo Products Manufacturing; Philippine Bamboo Industry Development Council (PBIDC); and the DOST–Philippine Textile Research Institute, offering visitors a closer look at the processes behind Filipino handmade and heritage-inspired creations.
Complementing these demonstrations is the LIKHA Gallery, which will showcase curated exhibits across multiple venues. Visitors can explore works from Rojo Galerie; OUR HOME; Mr. Francis Libiran and the UP College of Fine Arts Young Artist Studio. Meanwhile, another LIKHA Gallery at the World Trade Center Metro Manila Lobby features the curated space from vMeme Contemporary Art Gallery, showcasing artists including Toym Imao and Tarantadong Kalbo, with an exclusive exhibition of a masterpiece by National Artist Abdulmari Asia Imao.
Aligned with WORLDBEX 2026’s theme, Building Opportunities, LIKHA highlights how creativity and craftsmanship continue to thrive in the Philippines—providing local artists and makers with a platform to share their work, expand their reach, and connect with wider audiences within the architecture, design, and creative industries.
WORLDBEX 2026 is organized by Worldbex Services International and will take place March 12–15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the World Trade Center Metro Manila and SMX Convention Center Manila, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and creative talents under one platform to showcase the future of architecture, design, and construction in the Philippines.
